CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex of a SchoolTool Release (Version 21.2-R3 (Build 30)). The CNYRIC has worked with Mindex to schedule the upgrade to the Mindex Cloud Hosted environments beginning on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:00 pm. Key Features and Fixes of these upgrades are listed below.
Affirmed Name Support for Canned Report Cards: When generating canned report cards, the student's display name (affirmed or legal) configured for that contact relationship will be respected. Discipline Fix: When creating a referral in batch, all selected students will receive the referral. Server Fix: There will no longer be a delay in receiving emails scheduled to be sent by the Job Manager. Grading and Roster Fixes: Descending characters (lowercase g, y, etc.) in a student's name will no longer be cut off when generating the PDF version of the Roster Report from the teacher's roster screen. Google Classroom users will see the Google icon and option to update scores for any linked sections. The due date for assignments will no longer round up to the next day when performing a copy of a grade book.
