Spectrum Maintenance Presidents day Feb 16, 2026 10:00-12:00 EST

Spectrum Maintenance has planned a hardware replacement on Presidents day between 10am-12pm. During the replacement there will be disruption on WAN circuits to the following districts.

Upcoming SchoolTool (MINDEX) Maintenance Feb 17, 2026 14:15-17:15 EST

The CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that system maintenance for the SchoolTool servers is scheduled for Tuesday February 17th, beginning at 10:00 pm. During this maintenance window, the SchoolTool application will be unavailable from 10:00 pm - 1:00 am. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please do not hesitate to contact your primary SchoolTool Consultant or the CNYRIC Help Desk for additional assistance.

Schooltool Outage
Resolved - The interruption of access to SchoolTool appears to have been temporary, and all sites are now operational. Mindex will continue to monitor the sites and investigate the root cause.

Identified - The CNYRIC was just notified by Mindex of the following:

“Our team is aware that some districts may be unable to access SchoolTool at this time. Our team is actively working on correcting the issue and will provide additional updates as soon as we have them. Thank you for your patience.”

Scheduled - CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that a SchoolTool Production Release and Upgrade is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd, beginning at 10:00 pm. During this upgrade, the SchoolTool application will be unavailable from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am. An email notification with additional details will be sent to Student Management Contacts identified in the CNYRIC Trusted Agent Portal and to those on the CNYRIC EDS SchoolTool Upgrade Contact List. More details on features, fixes, and components are also available on the Mindex Release History website. The CNYRIC EDS SchoolTool Support Team will send out any additional information, resources and documentation as it becomes available.
