SchoolTool Announcement Monthly Windows Maintenance Dec 16, 2025 22:00 - Dec 17, 2025 02:00 EST
The CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that they are going to schedule monthly Windows maintenance work on SchoolTool servers on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. While this is low-risk work, Mindex believes that establishing a planned and predictable schedule will help districts anticipate any downtime. This first Windows maintenance will take place tonight, Tuesday, December 16th from 10:00-11:00 pm. This maintenance work will continue in the same manner moving forward on the third Tuesday of each month. Please note: This update requires one hour of downtime.

Upcoming SchoolTool Production Release Dec 23, 2025 22:00 - Dec 24, 2025 02:00 EST
CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that a SchoolTool Production Release and Upgrade is scheduled for Tuesday, December 23th, beginning at 10:00 pm. During this upgrade, the SchoolTool application will be unavailable from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am.
An email notification with additional details will be sent to Student Management Contacts identified in the CNYRIC Trusted Agent Portal and to those on the CNYRIC EDS SchoolTool Upgrade Contact List. More details on features, fixes, and components are also available on the Mindex Release History website.
The CNYRIC EDS SchoolTool Support Team will send out any additional information, resources and documentation as it becomes available. Please do not hesitate to contact your primary SchoolTool Consultant or the CNYRIC Help Desk for additional assistance.
