School ERP Patch Update 2025.1.19 Sep 3, 2025 17:30-18:30 EDT

School ERP PRO will implement a new patch release 2025.1.19 in the production databases on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, after 7:30 PM.

During this time, all users must refrain from accessing School ERP PRO.



This release includes NY-45 Reporting Update.

It will be necessary for Northland Communications to perform service-affecting maintenance to our voice and internet services network during the following date and time:

Tuesday, September 10th, 10:00 pm - 1:00 am

During this window, you may experience brief interruptions in Voice, Internet, and MPLS services. We anticipate these interruptions to be minimal, and we kindly request your understanding as we diligently work to prevent disruptions. CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that they have resolved the Receive Student Data issue and will apply a fix and update to the SchoolTool Core system this evening, Wednesday, August 27th at 9:00 pm. This update will require system downtime, and SchoolTool will be temporarily unavailable from approximately 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused and appreciate your understanding as Mindex confirmed the testing of various scenarios.

Update - We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during this time.

Scheduled - CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that the Fix for Receiving Student Data is still undergoing Quality Assurance checks and was not released last evening as anticipated. They have identified some additional scenarios that they would like to address. The fix is expected to be completed later this week, and they will inform us of a new release date as soon as it is available.
IMPORTANT
A current workaround for the time being is to batch receive each student individually. Please note, when using batch receive, the contact/student/address match happens automatically based on pre-defined logic to look for the best match in the database. When batch receiving, you cannot manually look for and choose a match the way you would if you manually received an individual student.

CNYRIC's Toner and computer supply website is down

Investigating - Due to an application error , The toner and computer supply website hosted by the RIC is inoperable at this time. Programmers are working on a solution and hope to correct the error/s as quickly as possible.

SchoolTool Announcement Grading Application Update 8/26/25

Scheduled - The SchoolTool Grading Application will be receiving an update on Tuesday, August 26th from 5:00-6:00 pm. At this time, all grading screens will be updated to the new grade book and the legacy grading screens will be deprecated. This update will enable a more consistent and enhanced experience for all users. The deployment of this update will require no downtime and will not impact individuals currently using the system.

Please note that if users are utilizing the legacy grading screens at the time of the update, they will not be forcibly logged out. All data would be saved, however, once they navigate away from the legacy grading screen and return, they will be defaulted to the new grading screen.

Scheduled - CNYRIC has been notified by Mindex that an update will be applied to the SchoolTool Core system on Monday, August 25th at 10:00 pm. This update will require system downtime, and SchoolTool will be temporarily unavailable from approximately 10:00-10:30 p.m.

Some districts recently encountered errors when using the Receive Student Data screen for Online Pre-Registration and this update will resolve the issue.
