The CNYRIC monitoring continues to show continues to report no errors on all WAN Spectrum connections. At this time we will be closing this incident. If monitoring indicates any changes in connection status the CNYRIC will post a new incident.

The CNYRIC monitoring continues to report no errors on all WAN Spectrum connections. However the incident will remain open as we continue to monitor as bandwidth increases this morning (6/9). Updates will be provided if performance changes.

Update -
The CNYRIC continues to work with Spectrum Engineers on determining the root cause of the latency with the TST and Cayuga Connections prior few days. As of 8:00am 6/5/25 the CNYRIC monitors report normal performance on all Spectrum WAN connections. We will be upgrading the CNYRIC WAN Connection and Spectrum Internet Services to operational, but the incident will stay active on the status page while we continue to work with Spectrum on determining root cause.

The CNYRIC continues to work with Spectrum Engineers on determining the root cause of the latency with the TST and Cayuga Connections. We continue to see normal performance on all Spectrum WAN connections at this time.

Update -
In conjunction with Spectrum the CNYRIC has implemented configuration changes to the WAN Internet connections that has resulted in increased performance and reduction of latency on the TST & Cayuga Connections. We continue to work with Spectrum engineers to identify the root cause of the latency.

The CNYRIC is still observing latency issues on 2 of the 3 spectrum internet connections for the WAN. We have requested escalation for the issue at Spectrum. Updates will be provided as information become available.
